Simply Searching provides Event Organisers and the Public with a FREE service to encourage the participation in events and activities and to make new friends with common interests.

Searching is Free!

Using powerful keyword searching you have full control over your search, therefore whether its a swimming pool within 10 miles of your location with disabled access or a sports centre that has Thai boxing, squash court and a Pilates class, you'll find it with Simply Searching.

Free Registration

Signing up to Simply Searching only takes a minute and securely stores your details to remember your search location, last search and preferences. It also allows you to safely send messages to organisers, sign-up to events and add favourites. You can also search for other people who share common interests.

You also never need to worry about advertising or receiving unsolicited emails as we're not that type of service.

Notifications

We've all been there. One week you search for a particular type of event in your area and yet there is nothing on. The next week you've been busy and you forget only to find out you've missed it!

Well, never again as we have the ideal solution. You can tell Simply Searching what it is you are looking for and then the service will automatically notify you when an event matches your criteria.

Whether its a country fair suitable for the whole family within 15 miles of your home or an air show being held within 150 miles, you don't need to do another thing, just sit back and wait to be notified.

You can save as many searches as you wish with notifications so you don't need to keep re-entering the search criteria. These email notifications will automatically save favourites for you so you can see the details of the event easily.

This also works proactively on your behalf. We monitor what people want to be notified of and if you are looking for an event which is not currently running, we will find someone who is running it and add it to the system. Also, if enough people want a particular type of event, an organiser may put it on especially for you.

All this with Notifications for just £1.99 a month.

Use the account upgrade option under My Details once you have signed up. Also remember that you are in complete control of your profile. You only pay for as long as you have this feature enabled. You can downgrade back to a free whenever you wish.

Social Messaging

Whilst you can already search for other people and send them messages at no cost whatsoever, Social Messaging provides all of the features of Notifications and more.

You can setup as many search notifications as you wish. Therefore if you would like Simply Searching to tell you when there is someone who signs up aged between 33 and 43 who plays tennis and enjoys cycling within 5 miles of your location, the service will automatically send you a message.

In addition to this you can save as many searches as you wish so you don't need to re-enter them each time. The email search notification will save favourites automatically for you.

A subscription is necessary to read messages sent to you by other people. They'll be contacting you for a reason though which we felt was the fairest way of doing this.

You have full control over your profile, the extent of its content and whether it appears in search results or not.
