This information is provided to parents and guardians so that we can explain what we do and what you can do to keep your children safe and secure online.

Simply Searching is a service for all ages and we provide facilitate the sharing of information between Activity Providers and people using the service. We're merely say what's on or where things are and where to go to get more information to promote involvement in sport, activities, hobbies and other interests.

Simply Searching is aimed at ages eighteen (18) upwards and includes events, activities and areas of common interest not only for adults but also for the whole family.

Activity Providers around the country can list their facilities and events specific to each age group. These age ranges are 0-3, 4-12, 13-17 and 18+ to ensure that searches can be filtered appropriately.

This is what we do for your children:

We do not provide a social networking site for children
Children and Teenagers are restricted to searching for activities and events only
Providers must supply separate information targeted specifically to kids, teenagers and adults/family
No adult can interact with a child or teenager in any way
Providers are vetted before their facilities or events are displayed on the system
We monitor usage and activity

These are general guidelines:

Be aware of your child's internet usage and browsing activities
Position the computer in a place where the monitor can easily seen within the home
Set time limits for when the computer can be used
Be involved with your child's activity, there is a no better way to be informed than to be involved
Ensure that you are aware of any activities or events your child wishes to participate in
Be the conduit of communication between the activity provider and your child
